👕 Clothing & Personal Gear Layered Work Clothes: Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty or potentially ruined. Long pants are highly recommended to protect your legs from string trimmers and brush.

Sturdy Footwear: Closed-toe shoes or work boots are essential for safety when working with tools and heavy mulch.

Sun Protection: The forecast for Saturday, May 16th in Fair Oaks is partly sunny with a high of 84°F and a high UV index of 8. Bring a wide-brimmed hat and apply sunscreen before you arrive.

Volunteer T-Shirt: Don’t forget to pick yours up at the 7:30 am Kick-Off Rally at Bella Vista High School before heading to the site!

🛠️ Recommended Tools While I will provide some supplies, bringing your own can ensure you have exactly what you need:

Gardening Gloves: Heavy-duty or leather gloves to protect against blisters and thorns.

Eye & Ear Protection: Especially useful if you plan on using or working near string trimmers.

Hand Tools: If you have preferred pruners, loppers, or a favorite rake for spreading mulch, feel free to bring them (label them with your name!).t

We could also use more shovels, brooms, trash cans.

🥤 Sustenance Bring a Water Bottle: It will be a warm day; stay hydrated throughout the shift.

Snacks: A breakfast burrito is provided at the rally, and we will have light snacks to keep your energy up until the project wraps at 2:00 pm.
