Join us for a Meraki High School cleanup where we'll be pruning like pros, conquering those pesky weeds, and giving the garden a fresh start. We'll even be setting up posts to make the space even better! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real difference at Meraki High!
Coordinator Updates
Thanks for your interest in participating in this project! After the registration, breakfast, and rally at Bella Vista High School, we'll head over to begin work. The project is a general clean-up of Meraki High School on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd. and Winding Way. We will be pruning bushes and trees, pulling weeds, spreading mulch, and doing general campus clean-up.
We will have water and some snacks on site for the team.
Please bring gloves (unless your hands are tough enough that you don't need them).
We will also need a few of each of the following:
Wheelbarrows, Rakes (leaf and garden), Shovels (both flat and rounded), Hedge Trimmers (powered or manual), Hand Pruners, Loppers, Leaf Blowers, Post-Hole Diggers, If you can help by bringing any of these items, it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to seeing y'all at this great event!
Important Information
Be sure to join us at 7:30am on Saturday, May 16th for the Big Day of Service Kick-Off Rally at Bella Vista High School! Everyone will start here - check in, pick up your volunteer T-shirt, enjoy breakfast burritos and Community Fair, and an inspiring Kick-Off Rally with 1,000+ volunteers! We’ll head out to project sites around 9:30am, with all projects wrapping up by 2:00pm.
