Fair Oaks Community Garden Project

Project Description
The Fair Oaks Community Garden needs your help to transform a newly opened space (thanks to a fallen giant oak!) into a food-producing powerhouse for our local food banks. We need about 15 volunteers to build new garden plot borders and lay down wood chip pathways, helping us maximize the sunlight and grow tons of fresh produce for those in need. Get your hands dirty and be a part of something amazing!
Important Information
Be sure to join us at 7:30am on Saturday, May 16th for the Big Day of Service Kick-Off Rally at Bella Vista High School! Everyone will start here - check in, pick up your volunteer T-shirt, enjoy breakfast burritos and Community Fair, and an inspiring Kick-Off Rally with 1,000+ volunteers! We’ll head out to project sites around 9:30am, with all projects wrapping up by 2:00pm.

Location Instructions:
Enter from Temple Park Road, then continue driving around the two softball fields. Follow the road to the end of the pavement—you’ll arrive directly in front of the Fair Oaks Horticulture Center. The Fair Oaks Community Garden front entrance will be to the right.
